What?

To help assist our athletics family through a challenging time, Athletics ACT will be hosting a an open session delivered by Sports Psychologist, Stuart Cathcart.

The focus of this session will be on DEALING WITH UNCERTAINTY, and while it will have a sport focus, it will be delivered with all aspects of life in mind and we encourage anyoneto attend.

We know that no one is immune from the challenges of the ACT and ACT Region Stay at Home orders, so this presentation will be tailored to be appropriate for all, and hopefully give you a few bits of information to assist you through the coming weeks.

Stuart is already well known to many in Athletics ACT, having been on board over the past 12 months in our Target Talent and Emerging Athlete programs, with rave reviews. Professionally Stuart has over 20 years experience in hospitals, universities, community mental health, rehabilitation, corporate services, and private practice. He has worked for the South Australian Sports Institute, the ACT Academy of Sport, and the Australian Institute of Sport, was Assistant Professor in Psychology at University of Canberra, and is currently a clinician at the University of Canberra Medical and Counselling Centre. He is an internationally recognized researcher with over 50 scientific publications.
