Little Athletics ACT are holding a Regional South Skills Development Day at Cooma, open to all Regional Centre little athletes to develop their skills under the direction of experienced Little Athletics coaches.

Any Little Athlete from Cooma, Bega Valley, Jindabyne or EuroCoast are encouraged to attend!

Expereinced and qualified coaches will be travelling from Canberra to run the skills clinics for the little athletes, with coaches to be confirmed closer to the date.

Clinic Information:

U6-U11 athletes will get to be involved with two event group rotations of their choice, and athletes U12 and above will get to be involved in three event group rotations, as listed below.

Rotation #1: Sprints (U11+), Hurdles (U6-U10), Long Jump (U6-U10), Discus & Shotput (U11+), High Jump (U8-U10)

Rotation #2: Sprints (U6-U10), Hurdles (U11+), Long Jump (U11+), Discus & Shotput (U6-U10), Introduction to Fosbury Flop (U11+) 

Rotation #3: Javelin (U11+), Triple Jump (U11+), Fosbury Flop for Intermidiate to advanced high Jumpers (U11+)

9.15am - 9:30am - Sign in and welcome

9:30am - 10:00am - Group warm ups

10:00am - 10:50am - Rotation #1

10:50am - 11:40am - Rotation #2

11:40am - 12:30pm - Rotation #3

12:30pm - Lunch
