The ACT Road Running Championships will be held on Saturday the 20th of July at Menindee Drive near Lake Burley Griffin. Please arrive AT LEAST 15min before the start time of your event.

Program of Events

2km - 12:45pm (10 years & up)

5km - 1.00pm (12 years & up)

10km - 1:30pm (18 year & up)

On-Line Entry

The ACT Road Running Championship On-Line Entry Fee is $17.00 for adults and $6.00 for athletes under the age of 18 years. This fee is payable at the time of event registration.

On-Line entry closes at 9:00pm on Thursday the 18th July 2024.  Please note that leaving your On-Line entry to the last few minutes may mean the system closes before you complete the entry process and make payment. To ensure you don't miss the 9pm cut off due to log in issues, please completed your on-line entry early. Contact the office before 5pm that business day if you have trouble registering.

Athletes are required to check in for their event, please make sure you are ready at least 15min before the start time of your event.

Due to the limitations of the current athlete registration system, athlete registrations must be manually transferred to the On-Line entry system. This will be done as at 4:00pm each standard business day (ie Monday to Friday).  Athletes who complete their registration after 4:00pm will not be able to use the On-Line Meet entry system until after 4:00pm of the following business day.

On-Day Entry

On-Day entry is available for this meet with the On-Day entry fee set at $17.00 for adults and $6.00 for athletes under the age of 18 years.  Payment can only be made by EFTPOS (Visa or Mastercard only) or cash.  On-Day entries close 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the event.  

If an athlete fails to lodge an On-Day entry for an event by the close of the On-Day entry period, they will not be allowed to enter that event.  

Eligibility

Any Capital Athletics member above the age of 10 is eligible to enter these Championships.

Entry Process

When entering events, please ensure that you enter the seed performance relevant to the event being entered.  Please take careful note of the seed performance format. If you do not use a valid seed performance format, the performance you have entered will be rejected on import to Meet Manager and, instead, it will be shown as 'NT' (ie No Time).

If you have an IPC classification, please enter it against the relevant question in the format "TxxFxx".
