School Holiday Throws Athletics Day

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:45 PM

This half-day clinic will concentrate on throwing disciplines: Shot Put, Discus, Hammer, and Javelin. Athletes will have the chance to select and engage in specialised sessions guided by knowledgeable coaches.

9:00 AM – 9:15 AM

Check-in and Welcome

Meet the participants and explain the day’s schedule.

9:15 AM – 9:45 AM

Dynamic Warm-Up & Mobility

Start with light jogging and dynamic stretches.

Include mobility drills (arm swings, leg swings, torso twists) and core activation exercises to prepare for throws.

9:45 AM – 10:30 AM
Session 1

·         Athletes select their first event:

o    Shot Put

o    Discus

o    Hammer 

o    Javelin 

10:45 AM – 11:30 AM
Session 2

·         Athletes select their second event:

o    Shot Put

o    Discus

o    Hammer 

o    Javelin

11:40 AM – 12:30 PM
Session 3

·         Athletes select their third event:

o    Shot Put

o    Javelin
