The Nitro Schools Challenge is a teams-based athletics event based on the success of the 2017 Nitro Athletics Series.

All Secondary Schools in the ACT and surrounding region are invited to enter as many teams as they wish.

Three age divisions will see larger teams compete to be crowned Nitro Schools Challenge Champions and book their place in the National Schools Nitro Challenge in Perth on the 9th December 2019.

$6,300 worth of prizes up for grabs for winning schools!
($300* per winning school + $750** in travel support to the National Nitro Schools Challenge Final in Perth 2019)

Teams will compete across a variety of track and field events.

* $300 cash towards sporting equipment, travel funding or AACT Equipment/Officials at your school carnival.
** $1500 maximum per school
