Event information
Registrations for this event are closed.
The 4th High Noon meet of the 2020 year is on 20th of September 2020 with the competition to be held at the Woden Park Athletics Field.
This portal is for non-AACT registered athletes wishing to register their Expression of Interest to compete in High Noon No 4 being held on 20th September 2020 at Woden Athletics Park. The athlete must be registered with another State/Territory athletics association and must reside within 50km of ACT GPO. In addition, the athlete must not have been in an identified COVID hotspot for a period of at least14 days prior to the date of the competition.
Once your expression of interest has been received it will be assessed against the number of entries in the events that you have nominated. If the entry numbers allow for your entry to be approved you will be contacted with a confirmation of the entry. You must then pay the entry fee of $7.70. Failure to pay this fee prior to 5:00pm on Saturday 19th September will result in your entry being removed and you will not be eligible to compete. Please note that the entry fee cannot be paid on the day.
We thank you for your understanding
Please note that the age determination date for athletes is 31st December 2020.
On-Line entry closes at 9:00pm on the Thursday immediately preceding the Meet. Please note that leaving your On-Line entry to the last few minutes may mean the system closes before you complete the entry process and make payment.
However, with the current 100 person limit on events, entries may close earlier if the attendees, including athletes, officials, coaches and parents are getting close to 100 persons.
All athletes who wish to compete must enter On-Line. Entry will not be available on the day.

Registration Process:
When entering events, please ensure that you enter the seed performance relevant to the event being entered. Please take careful note of the seed performance format. All track events of 400 metres or more use a format of mm:ss.dd (eg '2:36.23' or 12:26.23'). If you do not use a valid seed performance format, the performance you have entered will be rejected on import to Meet Manager and, instead, it will be shown as 'NT' (ie No Time).
If you have an IPC classification, please enter it against the relevant question in the format "TxxFxx".
All AACT Meets are conducted in accordance with the current AACT Rules of Competition.
Event Permit Status
The High Noon series has traditionally run as a national permitted series of events. Meaning that athletes who compete will have their results recognised for national and international qualification, and local and national records. Due to current COVID restrictions the High Noon Series will not attract the same permits as we will have a reduced number of officials operating the event to allow for maximum number of participants within the 100 gathering. Should the gathering restriction be lifted we will review this decision and inform members of the permit status attached to the event.
